Miss Haidee Millinery was founded in 1990 by Haidee Neill, the head designer, milliner and maker.

Haidee studied the traditional art of millinery both in Australia and Europe, having the privilege of studying under some of Queen Elizabeth’s registered milliners.

She has taken her hats to international designers with great professionalism and impact in Paris, New York and her native Australia.

His creations shine with their bold use of colour and texture, and for this he owes a great debt of gratitude to both his training in traditional millinery and his studies in the Visual Arts at the University of Tasmania, Australia.

Her studio is located in an old vintage boat shed, overlooking the Derwent River. Haidee’s retail shop is located in a historic whaling warehouse in Salamanca Place, Tasmania, Australia.

Her shop is a treasure trove for millinery enthusiasts.
