Katherine began her millinery career under the talented eye of Stephen Jones. She was also fortunate to work with Catherine Delaney in theatre, film and fashion before launching her own millinery house in London and moving into the iconic Oxo Tower.

Today, Katherine is an award-winning milliner who has created hats for Kyle Ho, Sarah Regensburger, Jasper Garvida, Johannes Radebe wore the Katherine Double brim hat on the Graham Norton Show, Debbie McGee, Dita Von Teese, Lily Allen, The Noisettes to name a few. Katherine also runs the Millinery and Business Academy and has helped hundreds of milliners in recent years achieve success with their own millinery businesses; some of Katherine’s students have won awards for their designs, been seen on TV, opened their own shops and become teachers. Katherine is also associated with and winner of awards including:

Some of Katherine’s greatest achievements include guest presenting for BBC’s Royal Ascot Ladies Day, being commissioned to design the hat for Kate Middleton’s official Princess Catherine doll, discussing hats with the incredible Duchess of Cornwall and exhibiting with Fortnum & Mason during London Craft Week and Coutts Bank during London Fashion Week. She has also appeared on ITV’s Goodwood coverage with The Lorraine Show stylist Mark Hayes.

I draw inspiration from sculptural art, architecture and nature, bringing these elements together in my designs. Like a conceptual sculpture, no two of my designs are the same.
